Morro Bay White Caps

Brenda Hascall was appointed conductor in spring of 2022.  She holds a B.A in music performance from California State University Northridge, and a  M.A. in band conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University.  She is a retired music educator who taught band, strings, choir and guitar classes at all grade levels on the central coast for 28 years.  Brenda has been involved with community music since the early 1990s when she was conductor for the Cambria Instrumental Ensemble.   She is an alto saxophone player, published music composer, and is sought after as a guest conductor.
